Rhapsody of Realities for 27 April 2026 — Power, Dominion, and Strength | Pastor Chris Oyakhilome

TODAY'S RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DEVOTIONAL BY PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME.

TOPIC:  Power, Dominion, and Strength

SCRIPTURE: "Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might (Ephesians 6:10)."

In Christ, fear has no place in your life. The fright files should be permanently deleted. God didn’t call you to live timidly or under the influence of human limitations. He gave you a life of power, dominion and strength. That’s why Paul, by the Spirit, said, “...be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might” (Ephesians 6:10).

Then in 2 Timothy 1:7, he says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” This is God’s Word showing you who you are and what you have in Christ: you’re full of power, full of love, and you have an excellent mind.

God’s Word is a mirror. Look into it, see yourself, and act accordingly. Insist that you’re who He says you are, you have what He says you have, and can do what He says you can do. Lay hold of the image of you that the Word projects; don’t let it go. James 1:23-25 (NIV) says, “Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.”

God’s Word reveals your true nature and identity; you’re not the natural man; you’re spiritual and supernatural. Keep your focus on the Word and see your greatness, your strength, your abilities and your potentialities. See that you’re full of power by the Holy Ghost.

While the natural man is dominated by fear, discouragement, and confusion, you’re full of courage, faith and power. Even now, declare, like the Prophet Micah, “…truly I am full of power by the spirit of the LORD, and of judgment, and of might…” (Micah 3:8). Make up your mind to live in the Word and live the Word. When you live in the Word, you enjoy your life gloriously. You dominate circumstances and the elements of this world; you’re in charge and in control; you’re in a perpetual victory parade. Hallelujah!

PRAISEJAMZBLOG INSIGHT

Today’s devotional reminds us that as believers, we are empowered to live in strength, dominion, and victory, not fear. God has already deposited His power, love, and soundness of mind within us, and His Word reveals this true identity. As we consistently see ourselves through the mirror of the Word and act on it, we rise above limitations and take charge of our circumstances. This is the life we’ve been called to, one of confidence, authority, and unending victory in Christ.

PRAYER/CONFESSION

Dear Father, thank you for calling me into a life of boldness, strength and courage. I live in and by your Word. I refuse fear, discouragement, or human limitations. I am the Word in action, manifesting Christ’s glory to my world, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
