“If You Don’t Want to Watch, Leave It Alone” — Nathaniel Bassey Responds to Critics

Convener of the Hallelujah Challenge, Nathaniel Bassey, has spoken strongly about what he described as intense spiritual resistance surrounding the current edition of the global worship gathering. Press the play button below to watch full news.

During a recent livestream, Bassey stated that he had “never seen a Hallelujah Challenge so resisted,” attributing the opposition to spiritual forces. He explained that this was the first time the platform committed to 24 hours of praise before proceeding further, describing the decision as sending “Judah ahead” — a biblical reference to praise going before victory.

According to him, the level of resistance reflects the spiritual significance and power associated with the worship movement. He warned against mocking or attempting to resist the initiative, referencing biblical accounts to underscore the seriousness of opposing what he believes God is doing through the platform.

Bassey further urged critics that if they do not wish to participate, they should simply leave it alone. He emphasized that the Hallelujah Challenge remains a space for believers to gather in extended praise and worship.
