Casey J – The Stories We Sing Vol. 1 (Official Album) | Praisejamzblog

Renowned recording artist and worship leader Casey J returns with her first album in six years, the highly anticipated five-track project “The Stories We Sing Vol. 1.” Released under Casey J LLC / Tyscot, this inspiring body of work features vibrant, guitar-driven declarations of faith that reflect her growth as both a minister and songwriter. Now available on all major digital streaming platforms, the project marks a fresh and intentional chapter in Casey J’s musical journey.

Produced by Grammy® Award-winning producer Aaron Lindsey, known for his exceptional work with artists like Marvin Sapp and Israel Houghton, the album delivers a rich and polished sound rooted in authentic worship. The collaboration brings together musical excellence and spiritual depth, resulting in a project that is both sonically captivating and deeply uplifting for listeners worldwide.

Speaking on the inspiration behind the album, Casey J shares that her understanding of God has been shaped through stories—especially those found in Scripture. “A great deal of what I found out about God, I learned through stories… as we reflect on these lives, we see that when surrendered to God, our own stories can also reflect His glory and nature.” Through this project, she encourages believers to draw from biblical truths and live lives that inspire others in the same way.

“This is my first studio project, which is unique for me,” Casey J explains, noting the creative freedom it offered compared to her previous live recordings like “I’m Yours” and “If God/Nothing But the Blood.” With her pen on every song and collaborations built on genuine relationships, the album represents her most personal writing work to date. Co-producing alongside Aaron Lindsey, whom she has long admired, makes “The Stories We Sing Vol. 1” a deeply meaningful and impactful release for fans of contemporary gospel and worship music.
